Many vets even still today will suggest euthanization of healthy adult cats, and kittens if they test positive for FeLV. This is absolutely not necassary, postives can and do live long lives, many with few and even no health problems. Please if you find yourself with a cat that tests positive, educate yourself, visit out links page for an abundance of resources to educate yourself with the most current information about FeLV. PLEASE don't euthanize a cat simply because they test positive!
